Ultra-refreshing. Quality cartoons will always receive quality reviews from a quality audience. And I'm sure the anxiety-ridden audience are now content as well :D

Well done concept! The pacing is a bit monotonous, but overall it worked together pretty nice!

Man, I haven't laughed this hard on NG in a while. Great comedic material man. There's anatomy problems here and there, but the camera work was spot on.

Your draftsmanship is beyond impeccable. You cut absolutely no corners on anything. The animation itself just seems like a complete nightmare to attempt. You did it very flawlessly, kudos. I didn't even care about the story or the aesthetics, or BG....who cares when your animation principles and creative abstract level is through the roof.

I liked the art, the direction, and the soundtrack. This seems very nostalgic, reminds me of Final Fantasy with the low poly 3D buildings. The subject at hand is a bit controversial I admit, portraying the afterlife through a suicide--however, I think you've succeeded...not a lot of animators are this bold and frank about controversial subjects. The way that the senses are heightened as time seemingly slows down, and as she very gradually reaches terminal velocity towards the end is sublime. There's A LOT you've could've done very creatively sound wise, sooo much that an animation can't put into vision. This was a film you did as a student though, so I understand how difficult it might have been at the time.

As far as the aesthetics go, overall I think they were good, with some inconsistencies that really doesn't bother me at all. It was a unique experience as to what a lot of us can only think about. I'll just dock half a star for that.

Very good stuff, keep it up!

Extremely clean work, and I'm sure with 2019 as the year it will be completed, you will add in more in-betweens to make it look even more epic. I gotta archive this or something, or else I will surely forget in the next couple years!

P.S- It's always good to see another video upload from Chakra! I know it ain't easy with marriage and working your dream job!

Thank you! Yes it's tricky finding time for this kind of stuff haha.

While there will be better animated scenes later in the film, unless I get a lot of help, I do not anticipate seeing much more inbetweens then you have already. I need to design the production of this to fit within the 2019 release goal haha, but I hope you enjoy the final product!

Dat tease man...when he enlarged that pokeball, dude, I did not know it was going to cut to black like that, I had my food ready and everything XD

Twist-a-licious! The animatic style you were going for I thought suited it pretty alright!

The chimney walls are tellin the truf :)

Awesome, very awesome. It is extremely challenging to pull off high quality frame-by-frame animation for over 3 minutes (with some tweening in there), so first of all...kudos guys! I know the feels. The camera work and backgrounds were absolutely spectacular, and overall it moved things along pretty well. The color work was also splendid, no problems setting up the stage at the right time. I must admit tho, it was hard to understand the rat guy at times, but it's not a deal breaker. I would also like to see just a bit more clarity on the story, but I assume we will dig a lot more into it on the 2nd episode...And I hope you are able to find investors or sponsors!

Thanks a lot CrabbWalker :D every advice counts, we have to continue learning.

An animating night owl...without the whole 360 head turn.
