LOL the ending felt very Trigun - esque. It's very colorful though, and the lines were dynamic. I'm definitely interested...

wow thanks man

I agree with some of what King David said, but I'll have to add that you have a lot of great work here. Some awesome things you're doing with color. I think you should stick with a primary medium of animation...in my opinion, your strongest being your 2D frame by frame stuff. Please continue to solidify and add onto your animation skills with vocals, storyboarding, and backgrounds. You have a lot of talent!

thanks if you are looking for me you can find me on face book, twitter and skype the name is the same on all jest for skype is anthony.cadette

Did I just see a Blu album in the background? Automatic 3 stars. Funny material a 3.5. Two things to improve though:

The art: More dynamic shots would've done the trick since this is symbol animation. I'm sure you're still working hard on improving your skills so I won't hold you to that too much.

Audio Quality: Improve it just a lil' bit more.

I liked it! Had a NTSC fresh color palette look to it. It would be interesting to see you do a string of short 1 min jokes or of the sort. Also would be nice to see a more smoothed out animation as well.

P.S- What type of mic do you use, and what area did you use it in? There was quite a bit of static in it.

alexapdos responds:

Thanks! I have a few things I'm working on now that will definitely look much nicer than this.

As for the mic, I was using a Samson G Track in my apartment. I was just too lazy to de-noise the recording before working with it.

Very exciting world! Hope the Tales of Alethrion reaches Newgrounds in the future!!

Love it...since this is an animatic, it would be totally unfair to rate this as high as your other animation. I look forward to your future works. Followed!

You're rocking the uncanny valley man. It seems like you utilized the same thing animations like Courage the Cowardly Dog uses as a source of uneasiness– little things like using blurred real pictures in some of your animations. It's frustrating how I try to attempt to understand this world that can only be conveyed through this glossolalia of sorts spoken by Salad Fingers. Or I could just be drinking the pretentious coffee. Nonetheless, I still feel progression of a story coming along. Original stuff, mate.

Very fluid, great practice, but try holding some of those expressions a little more than some others exaggerate them more (since this seems cartoony) giving it more bang for your buck. With that said, I want to see a story behind this fellow, some music, backgrounds, and a splash title. Introduce this wonderful character to a world not deserving of a blank canvas!! I await your future submissions!

Pretty nice short. My slight critique is that I think it could've ended as soon as the TV turned off, otherwise it's pretty humourous!

Such talent. Your animation is crisp and your theatrics are underrated. You're the gesture master (bows)

An animating night owl...without the whole 360 head turn.
