Thx. I usually start with a gradient or color-layer for that and stick with it for the rest of the process.

[Pseudomaternal Filth]

Swine/ Filth embroidered within the walls on the right side. The inking is well done, such in a way that it feels like a relief. Very macabre in the way you threw some red in almost everything. Clouds feel very heavy, but not so much that they are invading the character's space. Very well done.

The contrasts makes the picture really pop! Black Tower and the Lights.

This is amazing. Very contrast-y. Nice renders...maybe one thing to point out though, even if it's minor. I don't know if you wanted them all the same size/shape, but try varying their bodies a bit, such as the shoulder length or the height. It's hard critiquing such great art but since you were talking about character studies, I thought it would be decent info. Keep making awesomeness!

At first, it almost looked like he lost an arm lol but I see it. Strong diagonal background works awesomely with the tail. Good sense of scale 4.5/5
