Throw some skates on him, and he would be an amazing hidden character in Jet Grind Radio. I like the minimalist color choices on here, it worked well with the geometry of the whole piece.

Serene and slightly eerie at the same time. The fairy has a slight evil grin on her face, and Pinocchio...those feels! Great job overall

SimonT responds:

Thank you :) I am very glad you like it!

Great use of the canvas texture, I must say :D

You certainly have a unique-r style even though it's anime influenced. Also, I await your first ep to Peppersweet 00. I'm sure it's a lot of hard work :D

CartoonCoffee responds:

Thank you. Peppersweet 01 shouldn't be too much longer now :)

You've inspired me to try working with more of an impressionist approach on a super huge canvas, and then scaling it down dramatically. This looks too darn beautiful and atmospheric. I've always had a hard time working my BG's in under 7 hours for my animation, and this might be an answer to my enviromental drawings! But enough babble from me lol. The lighting in this picture is sharp, from dark to warm to cold as we progress to the tree. What's most intriguing about this particular piece is the use of blur like johnjohn said. You blur what's dark to put more focus on the brightly colored aspects you want to pop out. Overall, fantastic artwork.

I agree with what Antiskill has to say. There should be more side torso exposed our way than breast, since the shoulder is positioned to where it would need to show that. The breast should be hiding behind the torso a bit, and perched up some more closer to her chest. On the flipside, the coloring on the face is gorgeous. Bang on job with the face anatomy. You have a very mellowed color palette that makes the entire picture very cool, very "calm before the storm" type of cool :D

Reminds me so much of Launch from Dragonball!!!

You've captured the feel of Pan's Labyrinth in one picture.

Your Vader animation is on point, that's exactly how he swings his lightsaber...linear XD

Good perspective work. All in all fluid animation!

Can't get enough of your steampunk drawings. You should consider creating a world for them and get them out of the realm of concept!

Marcomatic responds:

Concept?! Dear lorde, Ser! This is going into an Exhibition! But stay tuned! There's a game in the making!

An animating night owl...without the whole 360 head turn.
