Your colors, lighting, composition, design....everything about this piece has amazing synergy.

Thank you!

Pixel pushing at it's utmost maximum! Good lord, what an Illustration. Where do I start? Maybe the sheer intensity of the main character looking at you...or rather another devil, as noticed by looking at the blurred out hands on the left and right top corner of the work, as Vorak's magical gauntlet energy wraps around you. The texture work on the stabbed demon's horns are absolutely transcending. IMMACULATE contrast work on the Demon head/ horns, it feels so naturally engraved. Every character just feels intimidated by everything that is Zorak. Everything on him is wild, in comparison to the beasts that are very subdued, defeated, and cautious. The fire effects are a bit different as well, very magical in appearance. I liked the way you illustrated that. A wonderful piece for your gallery. Congrats!

Thank you very much! Very kind words. And thank you for the five star! =D

Amazing stuff here! I didn't even know you were an animator until you've posted this in the Illustrations section. Checked the rest of your work out and it's really good bro. I might try some of these gif illustrations myself to break up the long pauses in my web series- a pretty good idea!

bocodamondo responds:

yeah apparently ^^, im spending most of my animation time on a DBZ animation which is soon to be finished.

Great use of vanishing point. All this needs is a kid Simba, then it'll officially be called Elephant Graveyard.

Alright, interesting interpretation.

Awesome. You have a lot of Marvel influences (splatters, cloth coloring, energy projection, etc) reminds me of the 90s comic books I used to read. Everything looks wonderful proportion wise, except for Psy's right leg as somebody else pointed out. The crease near her pelvis needs to go up closer to her private parts...and her torso maybe, just maybe need to lean in a slight bit since it looks like she's taking this grandiose bad ass power step. One other very minuscule critique would be to slightly shorten the psy's right as opposed to her left to make the overall pic more imposing. Sorry for such nitpicking XD Otherwise, I also find it amazing how you use ink, because it's quite a challenging medium. I'm immediately a big fan of your works, and will be following you!

Thank you very much for your kind review, I appreciate that and will always try to improve more my artwork :)

I love it when a fellow animator pours his hard earned time into creating kick ass fluid animation. It boosts the value of this site ten fold.

WaldFlieger responds:

Thanks so much! Glad it was appreciated!

Amazing synergy. One look at these paintings and I automatically feel a connection between them (with glasses being the more obvious one). From older times to the new times, on these lighter color palettes. Great job mate, very strong art!

Thank you!

This what Gandalf would look like as a mutant.

TaraGraphika responds:

It probably is Gandalf.

If Newgrounds needed to choose another background pic for the website, I would recommend Kamikaye :D You've always been an expert of these vast, sweeping environments with an encyclopedia of objects that tells a story.

Kamikaye responds:

Thanks :) Glad you noticed all the small stuff !

The texture work is ON POINT, the grainy effect especially. You have loads of talent. You have a good looking neutral color palette that works quite well. Your lighting is like icing on the cake. Overall, superb. I hope this gets frontpaged :D

LemKuuja responds:

Thank you :D

An animating night owl...without the whole 360 head turn.
