Good stuff, can't really critique something that's naturally so beautiful and abstract. Maybe put some darker pockets of black in there, as the picks I pull up off the net tend to be there. Good stuff as usual

deathink responds:

I did want a lot more darker pockets of black, but the client wanted way less. even what I have here was too dark for them and I had to change it.

Wooooow. This is pure art right here. Amazing use of the GIF sir. And the water animation, the horizon shift, everything about this is golden. The painted animation is a style I keep trying to get into...I am going to try that out sometime when I get time to!

The darks and the lights all feel so natural here on all the various textures and objects. Great, great job!

"Use of flares like none has ever seen before. A unique experience"

Awesome detail, and brushstroke work! I have one little bit of advice if it may help at all, and that's that I think composition wise, it's very heavy on the right side of the canvas. I think balancing that out a bit would make this painting even stronger. Good stuff man.

Kiabugboy responds:

Thankyou, i didn't notice the composition problem before so thanks for pointing that out :) i should definitely pay attenrion to that next time. Also, wow! This painting got front paged??? Thankyou so much everyone! I'm really glad all of you liked it.

These GIFs and your paintings are doing you justice in between the huge gaps of your full animations, keep up the good work!

bocodamondo responds:

haha yeah, i gotta do something to keep myself relevant while working on this big animation

Good diagonals and the familiar patterned shirt gives this piece a sense of nostalgia. The smile also seems as if you'd want to travel back in time to embark on her adventures! I docked half a point for the weird cropping right at her head, but then maybe I don't fully understand the intentions behind that. Love the paint, and the brush work, awesome schtuff :D

Very neutral, and cold colors here, working extremely well together. Less focused on contrast, but a LOT of focus on light. There are like, 4 or more different light sources here, and you've utilized them soo well!

Amazing light control. I love the way you've handled it in your piece.

Thanks man! (・∀・)
